• Drive territory aftermarket parts and service revenue growth • Develop and execute dealer-specific business plans to increase Yanmar parts sales • Support customer retention initiatives and dealer profitability strategies • Promote adoption of One Yanmar dealer programs and initiatives • Drive utilization and penetration of aftermarket support programs • Identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans • Ensure rapid resolution of quality, warranty, and technical support issues • Lead CSI and NPS improvement initiatives with assigned dealers • Support warranty administration and maximize warranty recovery performance • Partner with dealers to improve customer experiences and equipment uptime • Liaise between dealers and internal support teams • Implement training and development plans to strengthen dealer performance • Promote participation in Yanmar technical and commercial training programs • Drive adoption of Dealer Portal, YDS, SA-Diagnostic, SA-Remote, and Telematics systems • Standardize dealer parts and service best practices • Coach dealers to improve operational effectiveness • Ensure healthy parts inventories and improve inventory planning and forecasting accuracy • Monitor stocking compliance and inventory health • Support fast-moving parts availability, critical backorders, and expedited parts needs • Align dealer inventory strategies with North American distribution policies and annual business plans • Execute and enforce One Yanmar standards, reporting requirements, and accountability measures • Conduct monthly business reviews with assigned dealers • Monitor performance metrics, drive corrective actions, and escalate challenges • Support strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects focused on dealer development and customer satisfaction
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered • Minimum 5 years of experience in parts management, service operations, aftermarket support, or dealer development within the construction equipment, agricultural equipment, or related industries • Experience supporting dealer networks in an OEM environment • Proven success managing parts programs, warranty administration, and service operations across multi-location or national dealer networks • Demonstrated ability to drive performance improvement and revenue growth through dealer partnerships • Live in and be able to travel extensively throughout an assigned territory (Western US: Utah, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona) • Experience supporting compact construction equipment, including Compact Track Loaders (CTLs), Skid Steers, and Mini Excavators • Experience developing and delivering technical training programs • Knowledge of KPI scorecards, dealer audits, and business planning processes • Experience leading operational improvement initiatives across dealer organizations • Strong working knowledge of parts operations, warehousing, and inventory management practices • Strong working knowledge of aftermarket business operations and dealer support strategies • Strong working knowledge of shop and field service operations for compact equipment • Strong working knowledge of warranty administration processes, systems, and best practices • Strong working knowledge of parts forecasting, procurement, and distribution processes • Strong working knowledge of vendor and supplier management practices • Strong working knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, cost control, and P&L management • Strong working knowledge of Dealer Management Systems (DMS), ERP platforms, CRM tools, and operational reporting systems • Proven leadership, accountability, ownership, and results orientation • Ability to influence dealer partners and cross-functional teams to drive performance and continuous improvement • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze operational and financial performance • Experience using KPIs and metrics to achieve business objectives • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities across a large territory • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptable to new technologies, systems, and reporting tools • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
