📋 Description

• Develop, monitor, and analyze program, grant, and organizational budgets • Partner with program leadership, finance staff, and business development personnel • Prepare grant budgets, contract budgets, budget modifications, funding proposals, financial reports, and budget narratives • Support funding opportunities by developing accurate cost projections • Ensure compliance with grant and contract requirements • Communicate financial information to financial and non-financial stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is required • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, grant budgeting, or grant management, preferably in a non-profit or human services environment • May consider a combination of education, training, and experience • Experience developing and managing grant and contract budgets • Experience working with federal, state, local government, and/or foundation funder programs preferred • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Ability to analyze complex financial information and prepare clear financial reports • Experience preparing budget narratives and responding to funding opportunities preferred • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong Communication Skills • Intermediate Microsoft Excel • Advanced Basic Computer Skills • Candidates may be asked to provide examples of budget reports, budget narratives, grant budgets, or other work products demonstrating relevant budgeting and financial analysis experience, with confidential information redacted
