📋 Description

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule and perform capacity planning at plant and corporate levels as needed • Manage planner/scheduling activities company-wide, ensuring coverage and labor utilization align with corporate goals • Coordinate scheduling with Sales and Marketing when constrained resources affect customer service levels • Route jobs to plants to ensure efficient utilization • Train planning staff at production facilities in material planning and systems, and cross-train production personnel where needed • Reroute jobs to optimize utilization, reduce overtime, and balance shipments across facilities • Review product mix requirements and plant capabilities and advise on additions needed to maximize utilization • Review and report product-class lead times with plant management, Sales, and Marketing • Track corporate sales numbers weekly with the VP of Production for production-meeting reporting • Assist in developing the supply plan with the Director of Materials Management or designee • Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data for rough-cut capacity planning • Provide guidance and expertise across all levels of planning within Zeus • Perform additional assigned duties and reports as needed by the Director of Materials Management

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience scheduling multi-line production facilities, with a 5–8 year minimum stated • B.A./B.S. degree in business administration or related field • High degree of skill in MS Excel • Oracle 11i experience preferred • APICS-CPIM certification preferred • Ability to produce top-quality results with minimal supervision • Ability to consistently implement policies and procedures with personnel of varying responsibility levels • Creativity in problem-solving and ability/willingness to learn new skills • Candidate must reside within proximity of a Zeus manufacturing location
