📋 Description

• Lead Zip’s most strategic, high-priority cross-functional programs and special projects • Translate executive priorities and enterprise strategy into coordinated action and measurable business outcomes • Establish roadmaps, governance, decision structures, operating rhythms, and reporting cadences • Own end-to-end health and coordination of complex programs spanning multiple initiatives, teams, and business priorities • Develop integrated roadmaps across product, technology, operations, people, finance, legal, commercial, and go-to-market workstreams • Coordinate functions by clarifying ownership, decision rights, dependencies, milestones, and accountability • Monitor program status, stakeholder signals, risks, decisions, resource constraints, and emerging issues • Lead escalations and facilitate complex decision-making through resolution • Advise executive leadership on program direction, integration strategy, organizational implications, risks, opportunities, and required decisions • Lead or coordinate change-management and organizational-transition activities • Partner with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and business teams through delivery and stabilization • Ensure programs have appropriate resources, capabilities, expertise, sponsorship, and decision-making support • Use Jira, Confluence, AI, automation, and modern tools to improve visibility, communications, reporting, efficiency, and repeatability • Build scalable approaches for future strategic initiatives, integrations, and transformations

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a technology discipline; graduate degree preferred • Program or Project Management certification a plus • 15+ years of experience in program management, strategy and operations, consulting, delivery management, technical program management, integration, transformation, or related leadership roles within technology organizations • 5+ years of experience leading complex work within financial technology, banking, payments, lending, or consumer financial services • Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional programs and special projects across multiple teams, functions, and initiatives, with accountability for outcomes • Strong business acumen and ability to define success measures, evaluate trade-offs, and connect execution to measurable business outcomes • Exceptional executive presence, stakeholder leadership, and influence • Strong executive communication and judgment; ability to synthesize complex information and manage escalations • Ability to operate between strategy and execution, resolve ambiguity, mitigate risk, unblock decisions, and restore momentum • Strong technical and delivery fluency, including modern software delivery practices • Ability to manage program-level risks, dependencies, capacity constraints, and decision structures • Experience using Jira, Confluence, AI, automation, and modern program-management practices • Calm, pragmatic, results-oriented leadership style aligned with Zip’s values • Remote-first opportunity for US-based employees • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
