📋 Description

• Exercise judgment to determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts and applying procedures • Determine policy verification and coverage by analyzing applicable claim coverage • Participate in Risk Management Agency-initiated reviews and referrals for operational integrity and quality assurance • Keep claims information confidential to protect Zurich’s reputation • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational opportunities, industry trends, personal networks, and professional societies • Travel within the assigned territory and outside it to assist with workloads, participate on CAT teams, and provide remote assistance for claims center calls

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent • 6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area, or in the agricultural or crop insurance industry • Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) Certification must be obtained within 180 days of hire • Reliable personal transportation • Ability to travel within the assigned territory; Crop Claims Specialist may also travel outside the assigned area • Must live within 50 miles of locations in San Joaquin County, California • Ability to walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles • Ability to climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet • Ability to lift 25 lbs to 50 lbs • Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills • Strong organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills • No employment sponsorship offered
