📋 Description

• Determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts using applicable procedures • Determine policy verification and coverage by analyzing applicable coverage and deciding whether losses fall within coverage • Participate in Risk Management Agency reviews and referrals for operational integrity and quality assurance • Protect Zurich’s reputation by keeping claims information confidential • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through education, industry research, networking, and professional societies • Travel within the assigned territory and outside it to assist with workloads, participate on CAT teams, and provide remote assistance for claims calls

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent • Crop Claims Field Adjuster I: 6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area • Crop Claims Specialist: 4 or more years of experience in the agricultural or crop insurance industry • Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire • Reliable personal transportation • Travel within the assigned territory; specialist may travel outside the assigned area • Ability to walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles • Ability to climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet • Ability to lift 25 lbs to 50 lbs • Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills • Strong organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
