📋 Description

• Draft legal pleadings, correspondence, and other documents as directed • Provide legal and documentary research support • Monitor and adhere to case schedules and filing deadlines • Conduct interviews, summarize depositions, and review discovery responses and medical records • Prepare discovery requests and responses • Subpoena, collect, and organize records from non-parties • Schedule surveillance, compulsory medical exams, and site inspections • Assist in trial preparation • Respond to and interact with customers, clients, counsel, and witnesses • Organize and maintain electronic case files and documentation • Contribute to team efforts and participate in projects as needed • Collaborate with attorneys, staff, claims professionals, and leadership to achieve business and litigation outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Must meet one California paralegal qualification: paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program; OR certificate from an accredited paralegal program including at least 24 semester units of law-related coursework; OR bachelor's degree or higher and at least one year of qualifying law-related experience under attorney supervision • High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in legal support; OR Associate Degree and 2 or more years of experience in legal support • Experience conducting electronic database research • Experience drafting legal documents, correspondence, and/or pleadings • Experience providing legal support • Proficiency with Microsoft Office • Employment sponsorship is not offered
