📋 Description

• Investigate, evaluate, and conclude low exposure, low complexity mechanical breakdown claims under direct supervision • Follow established protocols to handle claims efficiently and effectively while delivering customer-centric claims service • Determine causes of failures and review contract language to apply applicable coverage • Provide technical support to external sales staff • Communicate with service shops, dealership personnel, claimants, inspectors, and external sales staff to gather information and resolve claims • Field incoming calls regarding mechanical breakdown claims • Determine applicable contractual coverage and the most appropriate replacement or repair solution • Negotiate costs and labor hours to achieve timely claim resolution • Proactively communicate information, respond to inquiries, and follow customer protocols

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Automotive repair area OR Bachelor’s Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Automotive Repair area OR Zurich approved Apprenticeship program including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Automotive repair area • Customer service experience • Experience with Microsoft Office • Experience in auto industry areas of service repair, auto technology, parts department, machinist, powersports technician, service management or service advisor • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Ability to multi-task • Organization and time management skills • Experience with collaboration and working across work groups • ASE • Ability to work a shift between 7am–8pm Central Standard Time • Employment sponsorship is not offered
