📋 Description

• Own and drive requirements for Arcadia’s unified data model • Partner with engineering to design an architecture extensible across current and future use cases • Partner with organizational leaders to mature Arcadia’s data strategy • Work with product and engineering leads across Expense Management, Energy Intelligence, Bill Acquisition, and other data product teams • Gather requirements, identify shared entities, and resolve competing schema needs • Translate organizational needs into actionable engineering requirements across the data lifecycle • Define and prioritize the unified data model capabilities roadmap • Balance near-term feature requests against long-term extensibility and governance • Evaluate the business value of desired features • Define product requirements, specifications, and data contracts for business use cases • Drive adoption of data governance standards for naming, ownership, quality, and documentation • Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and platform engineering across acquisition, extraction, storage, and delivery layers • Track downstream adoption, identify migration risks, and resolve data quality and parity gaps • Present data model design and roadmap decisions to engineering and leadership stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Deep understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling principles • Demonstrated track record for data product leadership • Hands-on ability to write SQL queries to validate data structures, analyze usage, and troubleshoot platform health • Knowledge of distributed processing, data streaming, metadata management, and API design for developer tools • Experience with both analytical (OLAP) and transactional (OLTP) frameworks • Familiarity with access controls, PII masking, data lineage, and compliance frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA • 5+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent on data platforms, data infrastructure, or data model and schema design • Proven experience writing detailed technical requirements and specs for data models, schemas, or APIs consumed by multiple downstream teams • Experience partnering directly with data engineers and architects on entity design, normalization, governance, and extensibility tradeoffs • Track record of managing competing stakeholder requirements across multiple product lines and driving them to a unified solution • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience with agile delivery, including backlog management, sprint planning, and road-mapping • Experience in energy, utilities, or fintech and expense-management software is nice to have • Familiarity with utility billing, tariff, or usage data structures is nice to have • Experience with data governance frameworks, master data management, or data cataloging tools is nice to have • Exposure to AI or ML-driven data extraction or classification pipelines is nice to have • Experience at a company going through platform consolidation or M&A-driven system integration is nice to have • Must be able to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable for this position
