• Support and provide service for BMO’s Investment Operations business stakeholders and customers • Execute Investment product and service processes in accordance with financial and regulatory controls and operational guidelines • Develop solutions and recommendations based on business strategy and stakeholder needs • Advise assigned business groups on solution implementation • Support strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders • Respond to standard and non-standard inquiries from internal business partners and external customers • Monitor and track performance and address issues • Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards • Build change management plans and lead or participate in readiness, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment activities • Develop communication plans, tailored messaging, and distribution channels • Coordinate and schedule work and forecast resources as needed • Coordinate team workflow, including work assignment, quality control, training, coaching, and problem resolution • Process transactions, inquiries, and audit/reconciliation activities • Analyze and resolve complex issues or escalate them as required • Act as primary backup to team members and backup to the manager • Evaluate exceptions and engage senior management for resolution • Design and develop tools and training programs and deliver training as needed • Act as day-to-day vendor contact and support vendor solution implementation and maintenance • Contribute to continuous improvement of business processes and procedures • Participate in planning, testing, and implementation of projects, products, services, and processes • Process transactions accurately and timely while meeting service-level agreements • Check and reconcile information and documentation for accuracy and completeness • Collaborate with stakeholders and maintain effective relationships to deliver business objectives • Maintain understanding of regulatory requirements and operational risks • Support development of tools and training focused on business results
• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience • In-depth knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology • In-depth knowledge and understanding of business unit products, services, processes, and controls • In-depth knowledge of risk and regulatory requirements of the business • Good prioritization skills • In-depth customer service skills • In-depth PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience • In-depth verbal and written communication skills • In-depth collaboration and team skills • In-depth analytical and problem-solving skills • In-depth influence skills • In-depth data-driven decision-making skills • Ability to apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework and comply with policies, laws, and regulations
