• Support delivery of the Northern First Nation Home Retrofit Program by coordinating subcontractor activity, overseeing QA/QC, and processing work orders • Coordinate day-to-day subcontractor scheduling, work assignment, and performance tracking • Serve as primary point of contact for subcontractor crews and resolve or escalate field issues • Lead onboarding and training for new subcontractor partners and team members • Conduct or coordinate QA/QC reviews against program, safety, and building science standards • Document findings, follow up on corrective actions, and support continuous improvement of QA/QC processes • Process, track, and maintain work orders across the program pipeline • Monitor bottlenecks and delays • Support reporting, file management, operational administration, and transitions to new operational systems • Coordinate field visit logistics with communities and subcontractors • Handle sensitive subcontractor or community escalations and complete follow-up actions • Participate in client interactions, answer day-to-day questions, and support the Program Manager when unavailable • Travel regularly to participating Northern First Nation and Métis communities to support field activity and oversee on-site work • Build and maintain relationships with community members, leadership, and housing authorities
• 5+ years of relevant experience in construction, trades, residential energy efficiency, or program operations • Advanced Excel and analytical skills • Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day direction • Ability to produce complex, accurate reports that comply with contract terms • Experience developing or using tools, trackers, and calculators • Working knowledge of residential building science, home construction practices, and/or energy efficiency retrofits • Experience coordinating or overseeing external contractors, subcontractors, or trades, or strong potential from prior hands-on trades experience • Ability to handle sensitive escalations and communicate directly with contractors, participants, and other stakeholders • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple work orders, schedules, and priorities • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Willingness to travel regularly, up to approximately 20%, including overnight travel, to remote and Northern communities • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to train and support others • Building science credential, such as BPI, or willingness to obtain • Experience engaging with Indigenous communities or organizations, including Northern and remote First Nation and Métis contexts • Education or certification related to construction, building science, or engineering • Ability to research and apply industry trends to program design and improvement • Must be authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship or support • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks
