📋 Description

• Support Retail Solutions products, services, and commissioning services for new installations, retrofits, and existing sites • Establish, promote, and maintain rapport and communication with customers, co-workers, sales representatives, and others • Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems • Communicate with customers upon arrival and before leaving work sites • Meet regularly with customers to understand operating problems • Explain service provided and outstanding issues; recommend enhancements, upgrades, or replacements • Promote add-on work sales • Manage assigned work for professional, efficient execution and customer satisfaction • Assist with loading and commissioning system- and network-level controllers • Validate complete system functionality and troubleshoot with subcontractors and other trades • Provide field-change information for as-built drawings and software • Keep current on safety bulletins and safety field-change notices • Operate safely according to published safety guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s (AA) degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school (or equivalent working experience) • 2+ years of experience with HVAC controls or building automation systems, including commissioning and start up • Strong computer skills • Effective interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people • Authorized to work in Canada and travel to the United States without sponsorship now or in the future • Some overnight travel may be required • Preferred: 2-year degree in electronics or mechanical systems • Preferred: Two years’ experience installing electronic and/or mechanical systems • Preferred: 313A Certification • Preferred: Bilingual (English/French)
