📋 Description

• Serve as first-line engineering response for production and support issues during business hours • Triage issues by patient impact and resolve critical care, prescription, and claims problems • Diagnose and fix bugs across the Django monolith and associated services • Perform safe live production data edits, including billing, coverage, eligibility, and invoice corrections • Own and improve the admin portal and internal tooling • Build documentation, runbooks, and diagnostic tools for Support self-service • Partner with Support, Clinical Operations, Implementations, and Engineering to turn incidents into permanent fixes • Track recurring eligibility, coverage, billing, and clinical integration issues • Monitor operational health metrics • Lead the Kafka-based AWS MSK Event Bus initiative using CloudEvents and Python • Define event contracts and drive Event Bus adoption • Use AI coding tools to accelerate analysis, data corrections, and code review

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • Deep, hands-on Python and Django expertise • Experience with Django REST Framework APIs, Celery async task processing, complex ORM queries, and multiple databases • Proven debugging and production troubleshooting skills • Experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL • Experience operating production SaaS, ideally multi-tenant • Clear written communication skills • Self-directed ownership and prioritization skills • Proficiency using AI development tools • Bonus: healthcare or regulated-domain experience, PHI/HIPAA, Kafka, AWS MSK, event-driven architectures, HL7/FHIR, HIE platforms, RCM, ElasticSearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, SureScripts, Quest, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD, or production support engineering
