📋 Description

• Report directly to a Creative Director and work closely with the creative team • Develop understanding of business objectives and audience demographics to create targeted client content • Process information from internal and external stakeholders and translate it into effective creative work • Lead concept ideas alongside art and creative directors • Translate concepts into full campaigns across digital, social, TV, and out-of-home mediums • Work on multiple projects simultaneously • Maintain high standards of copywriting and quality control • Collaborate with creatives, strategists, technologists, and producers to push work forward

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in a copywriting role in an agency environment • Portfolio demonstrating copywriting and storytelling craft • Portfolio must include digital and socially minded work samples • Strong understanding of advertising and marketing principles, especially in a digital environment • Exceptional written and oral communication skills • Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to write in a range of voices and styles for varied projects and diverse audiences • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and juggle diverse writing demands • Deep understanding of culture and its fit within a brand’s world • Ability to bridge culture, community, and brand storytelling • Must live in Canada, be able to work in Canada, and reside in British Columbia, Alberta, or Ontario • Portfolio is required for consideration
