📋 Description

• Create, maintain, improve, and evolve CI/CD processes for new and existing services. • Own robust technical projects, designs, and solutions focused on quality, scalability, real-time processing, and availability. • Lead complex projects spanning teams and involving partners and customers. • Participate in planning, code reviews, and design discussions. • Contribute to impactful projects on the team roadmap. • Drive software engineering best practices and create tooling that supports them. • Mentor and up-level other engineers. • Conduct technical interviews and contribute to recruiting activities. • Contribute positively to team culture. • Travel as required. • Build and operate foundations for application and system-on-chip image builds, CI pipelines, artifact and image management, validation benches, and release promotion workflows for ADAS features, particularly Super Cruise.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading and driving large-scale, cross-team initiatives. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related field, or equivalent work experience. • Experience developing workflows and managing CI/CD platforms such as Buildkite, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions. • Experience working with developer tooling and technologies such as Python and Docker. • Experience with build systems such as Bazel or CMake, and compilers such as Clang, GCC, and NVCC. • Experience leading projects across multiple teams. • Attention to detail and desire to improve processes and systems. • Deep understanding of business and operational impacts of technology trade-offs. • Passion for self-driving technology. • Must not require GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future. • Preferred: 5+ years designing, building, and operating production systems at scale in the cloud. • Preferred: Strong understanding of automotive vehicle systems, including ADAS, Motion Control, Automotive Networks, and Powertrain. • Preferred: Experience with Ethernet/CAN/LIN, SAFe and Agile, globally distributed teams, QNX OS, QCC, Adaptive AUTOSAR, CppUTest, GoogleTest, and Jenkins plugins.
