• Manage the assigned territory and achieve monthly and annual sales targets. • Support OEM Customers, Installers, Integrators, Design Houses, Cable Assemblers, and authorized Channel Partners with LAPP product solutions. • Manage customer pipelines and plan daily, weekly, and monthly sales calls using CRM, Time and Territory Management, and mobility app tools. • Manage channel support of OEM opportunities and project business. • Provide technical support for customer design requirements. • Utilize Inside Sales, Product Management, and Marketing resources to maximize territory growth. • Coordinate internal order processing and confirm delivery requirements with customers. • Apply the LAPP Sales Effectiveness Program, including territory planning, account management, and selling techniques. • Coordinate joint end-user sales calls with territory counterparts. • Develop OEM relationships, gather account data, introduce LAPP solutions, and obtain test and trial proposals. • Liaise with LAPP technical staff and customer engineers to facilitate product inclusion in design drawings and bills of materials. • Build relationships with installation subcontractors and OEM purchasing departments to secure contracts. • Follow up before and during installations to ensure correct product knowledge and delivery. • Troubleshoot service gaps. • Follow up after projects to assess satisfaction, obtain reference letters, and develop repeat or new business.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university. • 5+ years of meaningful, related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the wire & cable industry. • Demonstrated working experience selling Harnessing services, Industrial Data cables and/or Industrial Data Connectors products and their application. • Fluency in English is required. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Knowledge of Lotus Notes and internet software. • Frequent travel by car or air, including overnight trips; approximately 3–4 days of travel per week. • A valid driver’s license and passport is expected to be maintained.
