📋 Description

• Lead, coach, mentor, and support a team of Case Managers • Manage workflow, performance, and staffing activities • Promote effective disability and case management practices • Provide guidance on complex claims and technical issues • Conduct quality reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement • Build strong relationships with plan members and internal and external partners • Drive positive business, service, and client outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3+ years of supervisory or people leadership experience • Strong knowledge of Group Disability claims, adjudication, and case management practices • Bilingualism (English and French) is required • Experience coaching, mentoring, training, and developing employees • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and functional abilities • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment • Strong interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills • Post-secondary education, preferably in a health sciences field • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook • Knowledge of Manulife LTD case management processes is an asset • Experience with CAF LTD claims management is an asset • Previous Group Disability Claims experience is an asset • Experience managing health-related absences is an asset • Relevant insurance industry courses or designations are an asset
