📋 Description

• Coach and mentor Long-term Disability case managers • Inspire the remote team to achieve its potential through candid feedback • Tackle sophisticated claim issues creatively • Establish and cultivate internal and external partnerships • Foster continuous improvement with a focus on company values • Address critical issues immediately and thoroughly • Participate in various agile initiatives • Develop and monitor case management plans for disability claims by weighing multiple subjective variables • Coach and mentor Disability Case Managers, utilizing and understanding data to help drive outcomes • Handle contentious, complex claims, including all levels of appeals, and various projects • Monitor service level agreements • Participate in meetings with plan sponsors as required • Strengthen customer relationships

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Disability Claims experience • A University degree in Health Sciences, or related experience is an asset • In-depth knowledge of disability practices, procedures, and group benefits • In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, management, and pharmacology • HIAA/ICA/LOMA designation or enrollment is an asset • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with audiences • Experience in technical training and development of staff • Previous experience organizing and facilitating project work • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to meet demanding deadlines and work under pressure • Strong interpersonal skills • Proven team player
