📋 Description

• Represent Manulife externally with existing and potential large and jumbo corporate clients, Advisor Firms, and Partners • Support Account Executives and distribution partners in acquiring new business • Participate in and present finalist presentations, implementation meetings, client service meetings, and ongoing client meetings • Respond to and resolve complex benefit plan inquiries and service escalations • Negotiate service escalations and advocate for favorable resolutions • Initiate amendment requests and obtain outstanding requirements to meet plan-change deadlines and effective dates • Collaborate with Customer Experience, Underwriting, Implementation, Plan Document Services, Sponsor Financial Services, Plan Member Administration, and Admin Advantage Flex Benefit teams • Prepare, analyze, interpret, and generate client reports using web analytics and reporting tools • Advise clients on plan design, service options, technology solutions, and administration needs • Support adoption of digital tools and experiences among plan members • Provide digital uptake and usage reporting to identify education and engagement opportunities • Promote and sell products and services based on client needs and business objectives • Establish and maintain client relationships to support retention and growth • Deliver presentations to employee groups for enrollment and benefits introductions, in person or remotely • Train plan administrators on effective plan administration methods • Lead customer workshops and training on product updates and new features • Educate clients on new products, services, legislative initiatives, and required plan amendments • Use Seismic Tools to create and deliver client presentations • Lead or manage projects involving new companies, mergers, acquisitions, and restructures • Act as project manager for large initiatives with Head Office partners and underwriters • Coach and support new Service Relationship Specialists through job shadowing and buddy systems • Attend client re-enrollment meetings and facilitate action completion with Admin Advantage teams • Maintain and facilitate action logs with head office teams

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive Group Benefits knowledge and experience • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Group Benefits products and services • Experience building and strengthening client and consultant/advisor relationships • Proven ability to take initiative, self-manage, and display integrity • GBA designation or working towards the designation • Understanding of funding arrangements, underwriting concepts, risk analysis, and financial reporting • Strong technical and analytical skills using Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and web analytics platforms • Excellent presentation skills and ability to influence decision makers • Strong customer-facing, expectation management, communication, and information management skills • Ability to work independently and in a team setting • Strong analytical, strategic, problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and high volumes of work • Knowledge of Manulife administrative systems and Admin Advantage Flex Benefits operations • Understanding of legislative and privacy guidelines • Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and make client recommendations • High proficiency in negotiation skills • Must have a valid driver’s license and a personal automobile • Excellent planning and project management skills, including managing large concurrent projects within tight timeframes • Ability to understand complex corporate structures and amendments • Ability to provide consultative solutions for corporate business and work with Advisor/Consultant firms
