📋 Description

• Manage customer accounts receivable and support MaxMind’s cash flow management • Initiate contact with customers to collect payment on overdue accounts • Communicate directly with business customers by email, video call, and phone • Help customers resolve blockers delaying payment • Collaborate with the accounting and operations teams to resolve customer issues • Research and identify additional customer contacts when existing contacts are expired or unresponsive • Monitor and manage customer purchase order schedules • Work with customer invoicing portals to submit MaxMind invoices for payment • Answer customer questions about billing and payments • Maintain and create collection-related internal documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, type, and write clearly and professionally • Ability to think and verbally discuss issues on the fly • Natural inclination toward working with customers • Ability to resolve potential conflicts professionally • Comfort working independently and tracking and staying on top of tasks • Must be eligible and authorized to work in Canada • Previous accounting or collections experience is highly desired but not required • Ability to read and interpret invoices and contracts is highly desired but not required • Accounts receivable experience is highly desired but not required • Experience working with remote coworkers is highly desired but not required • Experience managing and maintaining your own schedule is highly desired but not required
