📋 Description

• Contribute to the Platform API alongside its current engineer • Deliver a Health Authority Integration end to end, from scoping through production • Restore code review, pairing, and design discussion cadence • Build product and pharmacy-workflow context to scope work and challenge unclear requirements • Lead integration projects involving pharmacy networks, practice management systems, and partner APIs • Improve reliability, observability, and maintainability of services • Participate in client-facing conversations and represent work clearly • Raise concerns and ideas in broader company forums • Deepen technical ownership and mentor interns and newer engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5-hours overlap with Toronto EST business hours (9 am to 5 pm ET) • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience (3+ preferred) • Strong, hands-on proficiency in Node.js, React, TypeScript, AWS, Postgres, and Kafka/SQS • Computer science background with solid fundamentals in data structures, APIs, and databases • Daily use of AI development tooling to move faster without sacrificing quality • Strong communication skills and comfort in client-facing meetings and larger forums • Experience with NestJS framework (nice-to-have) • Experience building or maintaining third-party integrations and partner APIs (nice-to-have) • Prior experience in healthcare tech, HIPAA compliance, or clinical workflows (nice-to-have)
