📋 Description

• Own the vision, strategy, and execution for key AI and analytics initiatives across the Avigilon platform • Define product vision, outcomes, discovery, and multi-quarter roadmaps for high-scale AI capabilities • Partner with AI research and engineering teams on model accuracy, inference latency, compute-to-serve costs, infrastructure scaling, and edge-versus-cloud deployment • Translate AI capabilities into problem statements and intuitive operator experiences • Conduct customer interviews, observe security workflows, analyze usage data, and synthesize findings • Collaborate with VMS, Access Control, Appliances, and Devices Product Management teams on unified platform experiences • Build measurement frameworks tracking adoption, field accuracy, inference reliability, engagement, and business impact • Work with Sales, Support, Training, and Product Marketing on launches, feedback loops, customer enablement, value propositions, and field inquiries • Collaborate with AI Platform Engineering and AI Research teams • Report to the Group Product Manager, AI & Analytics

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • 5+ years of Product Management experience • Demonstrated track record of shipping AI/ML-driven products or capabilities at production scale • Deep understanding of computer vision, deep learning, LLMs/VLMs, and analytics workflows • Technical fluency in model deployment, optimization, latency trade-offs, and cost-to-serve at scale • Experience running customer discovery and field interviews • Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative insights into product strategy and clear requirements • Ability to visualize edge-to-cloud AI implementations at scale • Understanding of local hardware versus cloud/on-prem compute costs, bandwidth constraints, and system load • Exceptional written, verbal, and relationship skills • Ability to present product strategy to senior leadership and align cross-functional teams without direct authority • Preferred/additional experience with VLMs, RAG, MCP, multi-step AI agents, AI prototyping, physical security, VMS, IoT/hardware, and cloud/on-prem hybrid architectures
