• Support execution of human resources plans and practices with the HR Partner Team • Interact directly with clients regarding employee relations, compensation administration, benefits, talent acquisition, and talent development • Support preparation of employee policies and procedures • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, processes, and systems • Identify areas for continuous improvement of HR services and processes • Assist with projects in the annual HR operational plan and functional/cross-functional initiatives • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and state and federal regulations affecting HR functions • Partner with stakeholders on HR-related processes and provide updates and reports • Provide guidance on employee relations, leave of absence support, employee separations, and risk consulting • Conduct employee investigations, including interviews, data gathering, and delivery of results • Provide ad hoc training to client management teams on compliance, engagement, development, and leadership • Create HR metrics reports and analyze human capital data for trends • Guide benefit plan design and employee enrichment programs • Attend department staff meetings, meetings, and seminars • Ensure employee matters are handled consistently, fairly, and without discrimination • Work with sales to onboard new clients and build and maintain client relationships • Contribute to transformational HR strategy and solutions for supported clients
• Fluent Spanish – speak, read and write • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, with at least five (5) years of human resources experience; or a minimum of seven (7) years of human resources experience • PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred • Broad knowledge of human resources functions, employment, compensation, classification, and employee development • Knowledge of legal requirements and federal and state employment regulations • Knowledge of facilitation and presentation methods • Knowledge of statistical methods, concepts, and analytical tools used in HR processes • Knowledge of interviewing and candidate evaluation processes • Proficiency in client relationship management tools, virtual meeting software, and Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to interpret and apply state and federal statutes and regulations • Ability to analyze HR data and draw conclusions • Ability to manage multiple detailed tasks with changing priorities and deadlines • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Ability to participate in video conferences/meetings • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Must be able to move up to 15 pounds at times
