📋 Description

• Determine, order, and execute key engineering deliverables across the software development lifecycle • Partner with business stakeholders to refine and iterate on functional requirements • Architect and build scalable, high-performance web applications using Java and Spring Boot • Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code • Drive operational efficiency through automation and custom scripting tools • Perform deep-system analysis to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues • Execute validation and verification using test-driven development methodologies • Engage in peer code reviews to ensure quality, maintain standards, and share knowledge • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to enhance solution performance • Upgrade application stacks with modern technologies and frameworks • Remediate high-severity security vulnerabilities • Provide on-call coverage, production incident response, and root-cause resolution for critical platform services

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience crafting performant, high-quality code in Java • Proven expertise leveraging the Spring Boot framework • Deep understanding of relational database management systems, such as PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server • Strong background in designing and developing RESTful APIs • Solid grasp of OAuth2, SSO, and SMART-on-FHIR • End-to-end ownership of live environments, encompassing telemetry, diagnostics, and root-cause resolution • Strong passion for test-driven development along with practical implementation proficiency • High proficiency with Git version control systems • Practical experience utilizing system telemetry and performance observation platforms like Grafana • Familiarity with automated test automation suites such as Selenium • Experience leveraging AI-augmented development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline • Must work in EST • Nice-to-have: scalable distributed computing environments • Nice-to-have: Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio • Nice-to-have: Ansible • Nice-to-have: Jenkins or GitHub Actions • Nice-to-have: Linux and IP networking fundamentals • Nice-to-have: AWS and Azure • Nice-to-have: SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect • Nice-to-have: cloud-native SaaS offerings • Nice-to-have: Service-Oriented Architectures • Nice-to-have: Python, Bash, or Groovy • Nice-to-have: on-call operational support • Nice-to-have: mentoring teammates
