📋 Description

• Own Zen's internal IT systems and security • Report directly to the Chief Technology Officer as part of the Business Systems team • Build a clear, proportionate, defensible and scalable IT and security posture • Automate identity and access workflows across Google Workspace, SSO, MFA, groups and permissions • Implement least-privilege access that follows employees as they join, move and leave • Build a definitive software and service estate covering ownership, access, cost and renewals • Improve software purchasing, renewal and retirement with teams and vendors • Define and maintain IT and security policies • Implement access reviews, vulnerability management, external testing, incident processes and concern reporting • Prepare security questionnaires and audit evidence • Manage Cyber Essentials and future certifications, risk management and governance • Build a reusable, increasingly self-service trust process • Coordinate with Legal and Data Protection advisors on privacy-related security matters • Establish secure, patched, encrypted and accounted-for device management, including personal devices and company fleet • Ensure devices are securely provisioned remotely through retirement • Track critical vulnerabilities and complete remediation within the 14-day patching window • Extend the established product incident process to corporate IT and security • Coordinate with Foundations, Engineering, People, Business Systems and Finance teams on company-wide initiatives • Provide visibility and recommendations for senior leaders' tool and service budget decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in Canada • Hands-on depth in identity and access • Hands-on depth in endpoint management • Hands-on depth in automation • Working grasp of SaaS governance • Working grasp of vendor and licence management • Working grasp of audits and certification • Working grasp of incident response • Working grasp of data protection • Understanding of security controls and modern IT and security practices • Business-minded approach to proportional risk management • Ability to communicate confidently at every level of the business • Ability to work with automation, APIs, workflow tools, AI, native platform automation or improved processes
