📋 Description

• Architect, develop, and manage the data platform • Support data ingestion, transformation, quality assurance, monitoring, and accessibility • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs • Build tools enabling internal customers to find, access, and investigate data • Ingest, process, store, and deliver data at scale and complexity • Enable software delivery teams to build data-driven solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience (2+ years) in a data engineering role • Strong understanding of data concepts at scale, including data ingestion, transformation, and modeling • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and their application to data pipelines • Experience with data governance, data catalogs, IAM, metadata management, and data discovery • Experience with Python, SQL, and HCL (Terraform) • Extensive experience with a public cloud provider, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Solid understanding of GCP data services • Experience with BI tools and integration with a modern data setup • Strong customer-centric mindset and understanding of product thinking for data-driven solutions • Very good spoken and written English • German is a plus • Prior IoT and streaming data processing experience is a bonus • Experience in a scale-up environment is a bonus • Interest in the climate tech industry is a bonus
