📋 Description

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for Heartbeat’s Energy Management System • Set the system’s direction and evolution across markets • Align roadmaps and guide, unblock, and collaborate with other Product Managers • Work closely with engineering on system reliability • Ensure households can depend on the system every day • Expand control and optimization across solar, batteries, heat pumps, air conditioning, and EV charging • Create more value from every kilowatt-hour • Write specifications, run discovery, prioritize, and ship • Ensure the system works across hardware ecosystems in Germany and other operating markets

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of Product Management experience in Energy Management Systems, IoT, embedded/edge, or similar control systems • Track record of owning a system that other product areas depend on and deciding its future direction • Experience guiding other Product Managers in a domain • Line management experience is a plus, not a requirement • Experience shipping reliability and scale, not only new features • Technical depth to discuss protocols, fleet operations, and data pipelines with engineers • Excellent English • German is a plus • Based in Germany • Bonus: HEMS, inverter/battery/EV control, Modbus, OTA, gateway security • Bonus: Optimization, forecasting, or dispatch systems • Bonus: Shipping an Energy Management System across more than one country • Bonus: Line management of Product Managers
