📋 Description

• Develop a data and cloud migration framework for migrating on-premise software assets to Snowflake Data and Azure Cloud platforms • Assist with migration of on-premise software assets to cloud platforms • Maintain and improve team software solutions and infrastructure • Develop software and data engineering best practices and standards for deployment and management of software assets • Develop new solutions and enhance existing solutions • Provide status tracking, reporting and estimation using project methods and tools • Design, develop and test assigned projects, communicating work-plan and task status • Participate in Agile ceremonies and work-planning processes • Research technology trends, upgrade technical skills and investigate new technologies • Gather requirements, validate understanding and maintain documentation • Execute activities within the current methodology and uphold quality standards • Collaborate with engineers, designers and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions • Own projects from technical design through successful launch • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4+ years of experience in Python, REST API and SQL • Expertise with Git source control tools (GitHub, GitLab or others) • Experience with unit testing using Pytest • Intermediate-level design proficiency following UML, C4 or ArchiMate • Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies • Proficiency with relational databases • Experience building frontend/backend applications at scale • Proficiency in the English language • Knowledge of Python web frameworks such as Flask (desired) • Knowledge of workflow orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow or Automic Automation (desired) • Knowledge of Python package management such as UV or Conda (desired) • Knowledge of HTTP and JSON/XML serialization formats (desired) • Knowledge of SCA platforms such as GitHub Advanced Security, Snyk or Checkmarx (desired) • Understanding of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Copilot or Cursor (desired) • Understanding of SDLC (desired) • Proficiency in object-oriented programming (desired)
