📋 Description

• Architect and implement modular, maintainable software solutions optimized for performance and scalability • Lead feature and epic design discussions and incorporate cross-functional feedback • Drive technical decisions based on business objectives and customer needs • Resolve technical ambiguities through systematic analysis and collaboration • Own medium- to large-scale projects from conception through delivery with minimal supervision • Coordinate technical dependencies across teams • Develop and execute project plans aligned with business objectives • Maintain quality standards while meeting project timelines • Champion software development, testing, and deployment best practices • Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and monitoring systems • Conduct actionable code reviews • Drive technical debt reduction and legacy-code refactoring • Guide junior engineers in best practices and modern development techniques • Facilitate knowledge sharing through code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions • Influence technical direction through reasoned arguments and expertise • Own backend components and services end-to-end, from design and implementation through maintenance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field • Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience • 5+ years of hands-on professional software development experience focused on backend engineering • Strong experience with .NET / C# at a senior level • Deep understanding of REST APIs, authentication, authorization, versioning, scalability, and backend system design • Experience designing and operating systems backed by PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other databases • Understanding of backend architecture, data modeling, performance tuning, and reliability • Experience designing and implementing unit tests, integration tests, and automated test strategies • Ability to design maintainable, scalable backend solutions • Experience making or influencing architectural decisions • Basic understanding of frontend technologies and frontend/API interaction • Ability to own backend components or services end-to-end • Ability to work effectively in an agile, cross-functional, English-speaking team • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Collaborative, adaptable, curious, and continuously learning approach • Nice to have: OpenSearch, AWS, CI/CD and DevOps, Datadog, Prometheus, AI technologies, distributed systems, data-intensive platforms, React, or full-stack experience • Ability to sit at a desk or workstation for 7–8 hours per day • Ability to operate computer and phone systems and type
