📋 Description

• Develop a data and cloud migration framework to accelerate migration of on-premise software assets to Snowflake Data and Azure Cloud platforms • Assist with migration of on-premise software assets to cloud platforms • Maintain and improve team software solutions and infrastructure • Develop software and data engineering best practices and standards for deployment and management on data and cloud platforms • Develop new solutions and enhance existing solutions • Provide status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools • Design, develop, and test assigned projects and communicate work status • Participate in Agile ceremonies and work planning processes • Keep current with technology trends and upgrade technical and IT skills • Investigate new technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate • Gather requirements, validate understanding, and maintain documentation • Execute activities within the current methodology and uphold quality standards • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions • Own projects from technical design through successful launch • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4+ years of experience in Python, REST API and SQL • Expertise with Git source control tools such as GitHub or GitLab • Experience with unit testing using Pytest • Intermediate design proficiency following UML, C4, or ArchiMate • Experience engineering medium-to-large scope and complexity software systems • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies • Proficiency with relational databases • Experience building frontend/backend applications at scale • Proficiency in English • Knowledge of Python web frameworks such as Flask is desired • Knowledge of workflow orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow or Automic Automation is desired • Knowledge of Python package management such as UV or Conda is desired • Knowledge of HTTP and serialization formats such as JSON and XML is desired • Knowledge of SCA platforms such as GitHub Advanced Security, Snyk, or Checkmarx is desired • Understanding of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor is desired • Understanding of SDLC is desired • Proficiency in object-oriented programming is desired
