• Partner with leadership to develop and implement key HSE programs and initiatives at the plant/facility level • Lead and ensure regional compliance with all applicable standards, policies, licensing/certification requirements, and regulatory initiatives • Provides guidance and direction to managers on HSE and Environmental compliance issues • Delivers role related training at the local level and participates in and supports the company's overall training initiatives • Drive leading indicator safety programs such as Near Miss to establish a proactive approach to the company safety performance • Develops, implements, and drives risk mitigation strategies and processes based on Safety data and trends • Extensive travel to facility locations supporting field management in remediation of identified gaps in compliance and business performance
• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience • 5+ years diversified experience in safety, environmental compliance, HR, operations/administration in a manufacturing or distribution facility • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the workweek • Six Sigma/Lean certification and OSHA 40 training preferred • Proven track record of building strong relationships vertically and horizontally within an organization • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
