📋 Description

• Serve as the primary liaison between employees and the organization within the region. • Coordinate regional operations while upholding compliance standards and fostering positive employee relations. • Guide HR Business Partners, managers, and employees on compliance, compensation and benefits topics, employment laws, regulations, and People policies. • Partner with HR Business Partners on business changes and strategic implementation. • Guide and counsel managers and employees on sick leave and termination processes. • Work with People Operations to ensure adherence to procedures and regulations for individual cases. • Conduct investigations into complex employee relations issues while maintaining confidentiality and impartiality. • Support transactional activities throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and data management. • Collaborate with other Employee Relations Managers, maintain the Compliance Framework, share best practices, and drive consistency in People initiatives. • Monitor and analyze employee relations metrics and trends, identifying improvement areas and developing proactive strategies. • Partner with People COEs on companywide and region-specific HR programs. • Develop and deliver manager training on People compliance and employee relations topics. • Drive or participate in strategic HR projects focused on employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with LATAM labour laws: 3+ years; experience in Honduras and/or Argentina; experience with labour laws in Mexico is a plus. • Fluent in both English and Spanish. • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. • 4+ years of employee relations experience is advantageous. • Strong experience partnering with various key stakeholders and being an effective team player. • Strong understanding of European, Middle East and Africa employment law and regulatory frameworks. • Demonstrated policy and procedure development and enforcement to ensure compliance. • Proven experience in employee relations or a similar HR role. • Experience working in a fast-paced organization, preferably in the tech or BPO industry. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities; ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. • Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written. • Strong organizational and project management abilities. • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. • Minimum internet speed of 15 Mb/s download and 15 Mb/s upload, with latency below 120 ms internationally. • Minimum 8 GB RAM. • Windows 11 (all editions except Windows S Mode), or macOS 13.0 or newer. • Processor with a CPU Mark of at least 7368 or higher, similar to i5-8300H; 8th Gen Intel or above, or 2nd Gen Ryzen or above. • Integrated graphics card. • 2 monitors. • Smartphone usable for two-factor authentication running Android 10.0 or newer, or Apple iOS 16.0 or newer.
