• Deliver high-quality service work across low to medium complexity projects • Plan and execute work with a strong “first-time right” focus • Build trusted customer relationships and respond with urgency, professionalism and ownership • Provide remote technical support to customers during stand by time • Work with the customer to identify opportunities to improve their operations and eliminate pain points • Perform field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity • Assist in preparing material lists needed for service activity • Ensure all materials, parts, and equipment are of appropriate quality for service activities • Prepare work packs including risk assessments and method statements • Troubleshoot equipment/process failures, request proactive corrective actions, and make recommendations to avoid issues in the future
• Highly skilled in electrical / mechanical engineering solutions • Experience in field services - ABB product experience is desirable • Willing to work in demanding environments, both in the UK and internationally, on and offshore • Relevant tertiary qualification in electrical engineering and/or have a demonstrated professional track record • Ability to demonstrate an ability to be flexible with schedules and be self-sufficient in the field • Comfortable communicating with a wide variety of people, both work colleagues and from the customer side • Demonstrate the ability to use Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel • Hold current driving license valid in the UK
