📋 Description

• Ensure implementation, maintenance and compliance of purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function • Execute assigned activities according to ABB standard procedures • Deliver and participate in training programs as required • Manage Procurement Gate Model activities, arrange project procurement gate meetings, and create and maintain procurement-related project documents • Coordinate procurement activities for Research and Development (R&D) projects • Act as interface between technology and product management project teams and Business Line Procurement teams • Execute purchasing and logistics strategies by optimizing supplier and product costs, quality and reliability • Design and implement plans and strategies for local sourcing of products and materials • Support effective local sourcing strategies aligned with business strategy • Apply procurement standards, tools and processes, including supplier negotiations and contacts, to secure quality, delivery, cost and supplier sustainability compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Procurement/Supply Chain or related field • Solid technical understanding to work effectively between Procurement, Engineering and other teams • Proven experience in Procurement • Solid track record in supplier management and R&D project coordination • Strong analytical skills for cost optimization, value chain analysis, and risk assessment • Solid Project Management capabilities with experience in Agile Gate Model methodologies • Effective negotiation and communication skills to work with engineers, suppliers, other stakeholders and Managers • Demonstrated results in identifying and onboarding new cost-competitive suppliers • Experience with Brand Labeling, ODM, OEM, JDM, EMS and manufacturing environments is an advantage
