📋 Description

• Abbott is a global healthcare leader, creating breakthrough science to improve people’s health. • This role is for the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics- Infectious Diseases Portfolio for NSW/ACT; individual contributor responsible for sales targets. • Manage a group of customers to achieve designated sales target levels; develop profitable business with new and existing customers; possess and apply detailed product knowledge; responsible for direct and indirect sales to meet targets. • In charge of sales expansion, introduce new products/services to clients and organize visits to current and potential clients; submit short and long-range sales plans and prepare sales strategies. • Regularly monitor sales performance of your territory against budgets and take corrective actions as required; retain long-term customer relationships; ensure high quality customer service; maintain Salesforce.com opportunities and activities. • This role requires tertiary qualifications in Science/Medical Science or related background; post graduate business qualifications look favorable; 3-5 years in Business Development in healthcare; knowledge of tender management and advanced Excel skills.

🎯 Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Science / Medical Science or related background; post graduate business qualifications is looked at favorably. • 3-5 years' experience in Business Development, preferably in Health Tech/ In vitro diagnostic products/Point Of Care Diagnostics/Medical Devices within a commercial healthcare organisation. • Experience in strategic selling is preferable. • Knowledge in tender management is ideal • Technology savvy • Advanced Excel Skills
