📋 Description

• educate HCPs on patient support programs, including access and reimbursement support tools and services • educate on product-specific acquisition and access options such as specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution • educate on resources available to address access issues • provide local expertise regarding national/regional payor policies to educate providers on payer issues, coding changes, and appropriate claims submission processes • liaise with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement support center to update HCPs on Rx status and program eligibility • report back payer trends related for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams • establish and maintain relationships with appropriate providers within territory • remain current on key managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required • Relevant and equivalent industry experience required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree is at least five (5) years of experience with three (3) or more years of experience within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred and a high school diploma/GED required • Proven track record of leadership success and solid presentation skills • Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking capabilities • Proactively identifies customer style / behavior and adapts quickly all aspects of selling approach • Operates effectively in a matrix environment • Proven track record of success in sales performance within respective therapeutic areas preferred • Commercial pharmaceutical industry experiences such as physician/account based selling, training, managed health care or marketing preferred • Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge and is recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders • English language proficiency verbally and in writing (for all non-English speaking countries)
