📋 Description

• Act as the client’s primary point of contact; • Mediate requests between the client and health plan providers/insurers; • Provide operational support for contractual and administrative matters, including: preparing, reviewing and sending billing to the client; monitor and manage contract implementations, billing disputes and denials of service by providers; advise on waiting periods and plan coverages; support authorizations and coordinate with providers’ contact centers; clarify reimbursement procedures and guide claim submissions; assess benefits policies and recommend adjustments with providers; • Process beneficiary enrollment changes with providers, including additions and removals, contract transfers, plan upgrades or downgrades, and removal of waiting periods; • Validate and process registration data; • Ensure organization, documentation and traceability of information; • Track and resolve requests through to completion; • Manage outstanding issues; • Provide formal responses to requesters; • Ensure clear, prompt and empathetic communication; • Meet established deadlines (SLAs).

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, intermediate Excel); • Essential: knowledge of benefits operational routines; • Familiarity with health plan providers’ and insurers’ portals; • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
