📋 Description

• Serve as an experienced individual contributor responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the cloud infrastructure behind a large federal enterprise cloud platform • Help meet scope, schedule, and delivery requirements while keeping the platform secure, stable, and performant around the clock • Operating, maintaining, and hardening cloud infrastructure (AWS) and supporting systems across multiple environments • Performing patching, upgrades, configuration management, and standardized baseline maintenance • Supporting Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) infrastructure and core platform services • Troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure, networking, and performance issues • Automating infrastructure operations and configuration through infrastructure as code (Terraform) • Supporting platform security and compliance, including ATO sustainment and audit readiness • Self-directed design of cloud infrastructure and tradeoffs between cost, reliability, and efficiency • Building reusable modules and mentoring engineers • Participating in technical depth interviews with new candidates

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's and 7+ years of experience; relevant experience may be substituted for education • Expert-level experience operating and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) • Expert-level knowledge of at least one infrastructure-as-code tool (Terraform preferred) • Deep command of systems administration, networking, containerization, and core DevOps concepts • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust / suitability determination
