📋 Description

• Lead the development of frameworks and proprietary code for analysis of electrified propulsion technologies • Perform physics-based modeling to develop high-complexity models • Integrate basic or advanced control logics that govern the physical behavior of the models into the frameworks and proprietary code • Create pre- and post-processing tools • Provide support to troubleshoot issues related to the use of the frameworks and proprietary code • Communicate results through oral presentations and written reports to Chief Engineers, Centers of Excellence (COEs), component engineers and powertrain managers

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Automotive) • Previous experience in the automotive sector • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) • In-depth knowledge of vehicle propulsion systems, including internal combustion engines, transmissions, axles, drivelines, batteries and electric motors • Strong knowledge of hybrid and electrified control strategies and energy management optimization • Knowledge of Torque Path strategies for hybrid and electrified propulsion systems • Knowledge of ECMS (Equivalent Consumption Minimization Strategy) for energy management • Advanced skills in MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow and GT-Suite • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams • Preferred: knowledge of fluid dynamics and heat transfer • Preferred: experience with production controls • Preferred: experience with Git for code versioning and collaborative workflows • Preferred: experience with vehicle testing or data analysis
