📋 Description

• Select and manage a team of data modernization and informatics staff supporting public health informatics initiatives. • Lead the team's strategic planning and implementation process for data modernization efforts. • Manage data infrastructure to improve data integration, enhance interoperability, and assure effective data governance. • Support the development of reporting and data visualization capabilities. • Ensure modernization efforts achieve improved timeliness and quality of data, and better coordination of data activities and systems. • Oversee the reduction of data burden and the integration of emerging and open-source technologies where applicable. • Coordinate with subject matter experts across the agency to assess the existing data environment. • Identify improvements required for the development of an effective data warehouse and data integration strategy. • Submit weekly status reports detailing completed and ongoing project activities, including risks as applicable. • Maintain accurate records of work performed and hours expended in accordance with OTS Task Order requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• 10 years of professional experience in health or related data or systems management. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology. • Prior experience working with public health agencies (e.g., CDC, NIH, or State Departments of Health) to modernize legacy data infrastructures.
