📋 Description

• This is a remote position. The Tableau Developer will support the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) on workflow-driven analytics and business intelligence reporting initiatives. • This role is responsible for designing and developing dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions that support agency operations and decision-making. • The Tableau Developer will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, integrate data from multiple sources, and create visualizations that improve process visibility, performance monitoring, and operational efficiency. • This role also provides data analysis, report optimization, and ongoing support for business intelligence initiatives. • The Tableau Developer is expected to deliver accurate, efficient, and timely dashboards and workflow analytics solutions that maintain data integrity and support effective operational and executive decision-making.

🎯 Requirements

• 8 years of experience developing, implementing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in an enterprise environment. • 8 years of experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud, including dashboard design, data modeling, calculations, and performance optimization. • 8 years of experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. • 8 years of experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical reporting and analytics solutions. • 8 years of experience integrating and validating data from multiple data sources, including enterprise systems and data warehouses. • 8 years of knowledge of data visualization best practices, KPI development, and business intelligence reporting standards. • 8 years of experience demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and quality assurance. • 8 years of experience communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and working in a collaborative team environment.
