📋 Description

• Consult customers with best practices as a 'Trusted Advisor' • Identify trends in customer technical landscape, org structures, or priorities • Escalate key customer insights to internal teams • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Channel teams • Deliver customer impact • Report to the AlgoSec Resident Engineers Manager • Work with EMEA-based customers, primarily from Germany

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position, in a software company • Experience in Linux/UNIX environments • Experience with networking devices (Switches, Routers etc.) • Experience in firewall administration and configuration (Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto etc.) • Experience working with Cloud platforms and managing Cloud Security • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English • Ability to operate under pressure in deadline-driven situations and business emergencies • Experience dealing with Global customers • Customer oriented and ability to establish customer’s trust • Problem solver, result driven, demonstrating a ‘make it happen’ attitude, attention to details • Team player, pleasant to work with, with a high level of integrity, bright, self-learner • Ability to identify and escalate revenue-driving adoption or expansion signals • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, working on-site (ANZ/ SEA) with AlgoSec customers • Linux script: Perl/ Python/shell (nice to have) • Knowledge of APIs (Java, REST) (nice to have) • Virtual routing and Software-defined networking (nice to have)
