Alta Vista Investimentos is an independent Brazilian investment advisory firm (Assessor de Investimentos) registered with the CVM that offers personalized financial planning and investment advisory services through a large team of CFP® professionals. 📋 Description

• Implement new features with clean, testable, and well-documented code. • Maintain production systems by monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving incidents. • Refactor and modernize legacy code, reducing technical debt incrementally and safely. • Investigate and fix bugs, identify root causes, and prevent regressions. • Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) as part of the development workflow. • Participate in code reviews, giving and receiving technical feedback constructively. • Use AI-assisted IDEs (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate daily work, always critically reviewing generated content. • Manage your own work in a task management tool (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, Linear), keeping status and estimates up to date. • Collaborate with Product, Design, and other teams to refine requirements and propose solutions. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, standards, and architecture.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience (5+ years) in software development, with hands-on experience in production systems. • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and its ecosystem. • Solid engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, API design, and SOLID principles. • Practical experience with automated testing and a quality-driven culture (TDD/BDD is a plus). • Experience with refactoring and maintaining legacy code. • Proven ability to debug and resolve complex issues, with a focus on root cause analysis. • Proficient with Git and versioning workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews). • Familiarity with CI/CD and continuous delivery practices. • Experience using AI-assisted IDEs to accelerate tasks, with critical judgment of generated code. • Comfortable working with task managers and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). • Proactive: anticipates problems, proposes improvements, and takes ownership of deliverables.
