📋 Description

• Independently assess national and international export control matters in the defence sector • Manage BAFA authorisations and licensing processes, ensuring legally compliant implementation • Support international exports and transfers of military goods within the EU and to third countries • Review and apply Global Licences, General Licences, and Individual Licences in a practical manner • Conduct end-user and consignee screenings, taking re-export restrictions and End User Certificates into account • Further develop Internal Compliance Programmes, conduct audits, and integrate export control requirements into procurement, logistics, and supply chain processes

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in business law, law, business administration, international business, industrial engineering, or a comparable field • Professional experience in Export Control, Trade Compliance, or export controls • Experience with German export control regulations • Extensive experience in the aerospace and defence industry or a comparable military environment • Demonstrable experience with BAFA, including authorisation and licence management and handling military goods • Knowledge of international transfer, export, and supply chain processes • Experience with ICPs, audits, and internal control systems • Fluent English skills suitable for professional negotiations • German is an advantage but not essential
