📋 Description

• Lead and manage sales- and procurement-related legal matters across Amcor Rigids EMEA • Serve as the key legal partner to sales and procurement functions • Support strategic projects, contract negotiations, regulatory advice, and dispute resolution • Draft, review, negotiate, and administer complex sales and procurement agreements • Manage long-term supply agreements, framework agreements, and strategic supplier partnerships • Develop and improve handbooks, forms, training materials, and processes • Draft and deliver commercial-law training to sales and procurement teams • Lead or support litigation and pre-litigation strategy and negotiate settlements • Supervise or coordinate outside counsel • Provide broader counsel on commercial contracting, compliance, dispute resolution, and special projects • Support commercial and compliance-related disputes through mediation, arbitration, or litigation • Support M&A execution, due diligence, and integration activities • Identify legal risks and partner with Compliance on regulatory adherence and ethics governance • Improve legal processes, templates, tools, and operational systems • Report to the business group General Counsel and coordinate with the wider Legal team

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree with qualification to practice law in a country of the European Economic Area, preferably the UK, Germany, France, or Italy • Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in legal practice focused on commercial law • Deep expertise in drafting and negotiating high-value sales and procurement agreements • Expertise in risk allocation, service levels, and long-term strategic sourcing • Proven capability in claim handling and litigation management • Track record resolving customer and supplier disputes through negotiation and formal legal proceedings or arbitration • Rigorous training within an international law firm/private practice • In-house experience within a large organization as a direct partner to business stakeholders • Prior manufacturing or complex B2B experience highly advantageous • Understanding of global supply chains, global sourcing, and industrial services legal challenges • Experience in an international or multi-jurisdictional framework • Comfort navigating cross-border contracts, international trade regulations, and diverse legal systems • Working knowledge of emerging sales and procurement regulations, including ESG compliance (CSDDD), CBAM, EUDR, GDPR, and modern trade sanctions is viewed favourably
