• Develop and close sales opportunities through network of Manufacturers Reps • Provide access to key decision makers at customers. • Provide details and participate on key projects bid process. • Track to participate in Utility Master Material Agreement RFQ events (Blankets). • Maintain relationships with key customers and utilize CRM within AWG system. • Travel for customer meetings throughout the region. • Facilitate meetings with customer and AWG management. • Conduct sales and training presentations to customers. • Provide Technical information to customers for AWG vendor approval. • Attend Prebid meetings, visit job sites and customer test centers as necessary. • Initiate Non-Conformance process to investigate product complaints and forward answer/results/solution back to the customer.
• Engineering Degree or Equivalent Experience • 3 + years-combined sales, business development, marketing experience in cable industry or electrical engineering a definite asset. • Selling to electrical utilities a definite asset • Able to work independently and a team player with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Strong PC skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications. • Good Listener. • Self-Starter.
