📋 Description

• Provide strategic legal advice for Anchorage Digital’s OTC principal trading entity. • Guide spot, margin, derivatives, and API trading activities. • Act as a trusted expert on money transmission regulations, state lending rules, CFTC derivatives rules, and SEC securities laws. • Draft and review compliance manuals, policies, procedures, disclosures, and risk factors related to trading and lending activities. • Review, draft, and negotiate trading, lending, and derivative contracts, including USDAs, Master Lending Agreements, Master Purchase and Sale Agreements, and Prime Brokerage agreements.

🎯 Requirements

• Highly organized with a bias for action, meticulous attention to detail and ability to produce quality work in a fast paced, high volume work environment. • You have an understanding of the regulatory frameworks, existing and proposed, that pertain to various digital assets business models. • Ability to apply traditional financial legal concepts to the digital asset space to solution for institutional clients’ complex business needs. • Transactional experience in reviewing various financial transaction agreements, primarily, lending agreements, prime brokerage agreements, ISDA/CSA and trade confirmations. • Experience working in a face paced start up / early stage company - highly motivated, self starter who takes initiative, with a positive attitude and willingness to take on any task (nothing is too big or too small). • Ability to think creatively and propose commercial and pragmatic solutions. • Active membership in the state bar.
