📋 Description

• Contribute to regional strategic planning and lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management • Provide financial insights and performance analysis to support business and investment decisions • Oversee regional finance and back-office operations, ensuring accurate reporting, effective controls and compliance • Manage relationships with internal and external accounting providers, auditors and tax advisors • Own quarterly fund reporting, annual audits, financial statements, tax returns and regulatory submissions • Ensure financial governance and reporting across existing and future funds • Partner with Fund Partners on fund cash flow, payments and financial oversight • Oversee LP onboarding and KYC/AML processes • Maintain relationships with investors, founders and external stakeholders • Improve regional finance, control and reporting functions • Drive automation, AI adoption, operational efficiencies and risk management • Coordinate day-to-day accounting, payroll, tax and financial administration for the operating company and funds • Support monthly management accounts and quarterly fund accounts • Liaise with accountants to ensure timely bookkeeping and financial records under HGB and IFRS • Undertake ad hoc financial and operational projects

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience overseeing a finance function • Sound understanding of HGB / IFRS • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field • Professional membership of CFA or equivalent accounting body • Leadership skills and personal integrity • Exceptional skills in budgeting and forecasting • Experience with group reporting • Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics • Experience with AI tooling, mostly Claude Cowork • Ability to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues • Suitable for candidates based either in Germany or the Netherlands
