📋 Description

• Preparation and execution of environmental studies related to fauna, such as fauna surveys, monitoring, and environmental impact assessments for licensing processes • Development and implementation of environmental programs focused on conservation and fauna management • Analysis and interpretation of environmental data to support technical reports, opinions, and documents required in environmental licensing processes • Interaction with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and environmental agencies for technical alignment and compliance with legal requirements • Preparation of technical reports and environmental documents, and responses to technical opinions for presentation in licensing procedures • Support for project coordination and contract management • Work in field and office activities as required by projects

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Biology with emphasis in Ecology and Conservation (Biologist) • Considerable experience in the role • Hybrid work model with possible travel within Minas Gerais and to other states • Driver’s license (Category B) held for more than 2 years; driving experience is a plus • Knowledge of specialized software: MARK, Distance, Wild-ID, eMammal, CameraBase, species distribution modeling tools, etc. • Experience conducting field surveys/monitoring and drafting technical reports • Preparation of Work Plans for requests for fauna management authorization • Preparation of environmental studies (EIA-RIMA, RCA-PCA, RAS, etc.) — diagnosis, assessment of environmental impacts, and environmental programs • Statistical analysis and data tabulation • Experience with environmental licensing, preferably focused on fauna • Knowledge of federal and state environmental legislation • Skill in analysis and interpretation of environmental data • Execution of fauna inventories and monitoring in different biomes (Amazon, Atlantic Forest, Cerrado, among others)
