📋 Description

• Build and operate real-time messaging infrastructure supporting 100,000 concurrent users per customer application • Develop high-performance systems with API responses in the 10ms range • Design and maintain highly scalable architecture using auto-scaling policies, distributed systems, and container orchestration • Operate high-availability infrastructure powering heavily visited websites and applications • Manage distributed databases storing user engagement data • Build infrastructure that enables product teams to ship quickly with reliability and observability • Build redundant production environments with automated switchover capabilities • Build automated CI/CD pipelines, production scaling systems, monitoring, and early-warning systems • Implement SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliance • Monitor and maintain systems security and data privacy

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant DevOps / Infrastructure / SRE experience • Experience with AWS infrastructure, including ECS (Fargate), Lambda, RDS (PostgreSQL), DocumentDB (MongoDB compatible), S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, WAF, SES, IAM, and VPC networking • Infrastructure as Code using Terraform • CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar • Containerization using Docker and container orchestration with ECS • Strong networking fundamentals: load balancers, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and CDNs • Monitoring and observability using Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar • Database operations with MongoDB/DocumentDB and PostgreSQL • Fluent written and spoken English
